Mufasa and Simba

I am a huge Lion King fan and can never get tired of all the three parts. Though, first one is my all time favourite :)

I always wondered how amazing such animations had been made in 1993-94. The story is very simple where the cub (Simba) is tricked into thinking he killed his father (King Mufasa), and runs away with a guilt. Later, he gets to know he was trapped and roars to all his problems and becomes the king.

Simba the cub is the cutest looking cub I have ever seen. Whoever they created him, dude(s) you are awesome. I am so grown and still can’t stop adoring Simba. The multiple reactions it gives when it’s happy, sad, confused, excited etc are brilliant to watch.

The famous sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S has a scene where Ross’s monkey Marcel hits the music player and ‘the lion sleeps tonight’ song plays (from Lion King). None can ever get tired of that song. OMG love that scene. Click here to check it out :)

It is magnificent to see cub Simba growing into a majestic Mufasa (his father). Those who have given voices for the lions have done an extraordinary job. The class and elegance is just immense.

I pity this generation for not able to enjoy such exclusive animated movies. They have a lot of distraction. Still thanks to dvds, some day they can watch :)

Senseless Road Sense

Yesterday, I took a drive from my home to besi beach. The street lights were bright and breeze was just at the right amount to forget my worries. The roads were calm with people taking a quiet walk. I always prefer not honking near my neighbourhood nor flash high beams I know how annoying it will be for others. I was feeling lot relaxed with soothing ARR bgms being played in light mode, rolled up windows, just too calm unwinding (wahhhh what a feel) and there pops a distraction – A sharp blackout in my eyes due to a car which came vrooming in high beam.  I could not figure out which car it was. I nearly could not see anything, anything at all. The flash cut through my eyes and I had to stop in a corner to clear and get a better look of the road. I felt I was dipped in a photo negative room.

Now, my question is – what is the necessity for high beams, when you are not driving more than 40kms, when the street lights are bright and everything is clear on road? When there is no fog/rain? Why do drivers switch on that high beam?  Do these guys know the meaning of high beams? It irks me so much that I want to throw stone on the car glass (Annamalai Rajini Style)

The infuriation dint stop right there, some crook driver kept honking like crazy. I guess he lost his reflex sense, and kept his hands on the honk and never took them.  Crap if you wanna go so fast, gooooooooooo  –  you can happily overtake and hit yourself on a tree.  Stop creating nuisance on the road.

Thanks to such kind of people, I lost my peaceful drive. I wish one day high beamers will face the same and realise how ghastly it is. Just hope !!!

'Respond; Don't React'

We meet a lot of people in our day to day lives. There are things which catch focus on forever in our lives. One such incident happened to me during a meeting with my boss.
My boss was walking us through the work materials and during the session, she said a line that goes like  “RESPOND; DON’T REACT”. She said it in a client’s point of view. But this very line caught my head ever since she said it.

The phrase (RESPOND; DON’T REACT) is not just for business, it can be attributed to life too. There are many instances where people make us completely annoying and angry and some do it simply out of spite.  That’s when it struck me, how easy a problem can be ignored or solved by responding rather than reacting.

Its 100% difficult to follow as reacting will ease us more quickly than responding to jerks.  But, if we value the relationship with the person more than our pride, we could obviously give it a shot.
However, there are few specimens who knock our nerves to rip them off – for such kind of people this theory will not work except for few hard smacks :P

P.S Thank you Rama :) It was so valuable :)

My Cloud :)

Okay! It has been like zillion years since I stamped on my own blog. Its time to relive who I am by continuing my blogging.

I was quiet amazed by this new funky thing called 'Word Cloud' I din't know what it meant in the beginning, well thanks to google images.

It is really awesome to see the set of few hundred text coming together and depicting a cool image. I might be outdated in discovering this, yet, I feel this is an excellent feature which can be used on many things and wanted to share. We can have a theme based words put together and make an image out of it and put it up on anything we want. It looks simple, yet stylish.

I was just curious in making my own word cloud, but I dint have patience to think and jot down the words. So, I took my favourite song (James Blunt - Good bye my lover) pulled its lyrics to make my own word cloud. Bammmm !!! it turned out brilliant (at least for my eyes). Check out www.wordle.com to create your own word cloud. Trust me it will kill your time in a happy way :)

Here, I have created my own cloud :) totally worth it :) Have a nice day !
